Jayne Ellis | Founder

With 35 years in healthcare as a nurse and educator, I am a published author and UK speaker on Compassion Fatigue and Emotional Resilience. I founded EF training in 2010 to deliver evidence-based support and in 2015 developed the UK’s first course tackling Compassion Fatigue for individuals and organisations. Having experienced it myself, I am committed to raising awareness and promoting emotional health in all workplaces.

Emily Hudd EF training

Emily Hudd | Sales Executive

I have a varied background in sales that’s taken me across different industries and roles. I’ve really enjoyed listening and learning from people, understanding what people actually need, and building genuine relationships that last. I was drawn to EF training because it genuinely cares about helping people grow and understand themselves. The focus on practical, impactful learning really stood out to me, and I loved the idea of being part of something that makes a real difference to individuals and businesses and brings about a positive change.

As a registered McTimoney chiropractor, I often see people whose physical symptoms are caused by chronic stress. I bring this knowledge and expertise to the EF training team. Delivering the training allows me to make a real difference, helping people understand how their work affects them physically and emotionally. I enjoy sharing practical ways for individuals and teams to support themselves and each other proactively, at work and at home.

Laura EF training

Laura | Trainer

My BA Social Psychology led me to social care, spending15 years working with offenders and young drug users in custodial and community settings. I worked across voluntary and statutory sectors and in frontline roles through to senior management. I experienced compassion fatigue myself and witnessed it in others although we didn’t have a name for it.

knew I needed to move away from social care, and an MSc in Training enabled me to grow into learning and development and then leadership development roles at senior levels in the UK and internationally.

FANTASTIC FEEDBACK

”For me, the training was a real thought provoker. It made me rethink the concept of taking some 'me' time; that it was a positive rather than a selfish act. It's taken away some of the guilt I usually feel if others' needs are not met before my own."
NHS TEAM
“By far one of the best training courses I have attended in terms of transferability to work, home and life in general. It helped me to acknowledge issues that I probably would not have felt confident to discuss in any other setting.”
CORPORATE CLIENT
“Staff are more likely to recognise when one of their colleagues has an issue, share their grief and help each other. We are working so much better as a team and overall work is a calmer and much more enjoyable place to be.”
